Two licensing models — per-dataset one-time licenses and platform subscriptions. Choose what fits your stage, budget, and use case.
Per-dataset: one-time license for a specific dataset · Platform: ongoing access to the full catalogue
Per-Dataset License Tiers
Each dataset can be licensed independently at the tier that matches your use rights. The same dataset licensed at different tiers — Research through Exclusive — serves indie researchers through enterprise buyers.
Custom agreements for AI labs, smart home platform providers, and enterprise buyers with specialized needs. Volume pricing, white-label rights, custom category development, and multi-year contracts available.
Ongoing subscription access to the full dataset catalogue. Ideal for teams that need multiple categories, continuous updates, and API access. Billed monthly or annually.

FAQ
Common Questions
What's the difference between a per-dataset license and a platform subscription?
+
A per-dataset license is a one-time purchase of a specific dataset at a specific use tier — ideal for teams that need one or two datasets and prefer a clean, perpetual license. A platform subscription gives you ongoing access to the full catalogue with monthly updates — better for teams building multiple products or wanting continuous refresh. Both models are fully commercial.
Can I switch plans or upgrade after signing up?
+
Yes. Platform subscriptions can be upgraded immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. Per-dataset licenses can be upgraded to a higher tier — you pay the difference.
What does "copyright-clean" mean in practice?
+
Every entry is 100% original content produced or commissioned by Modern Homemaking AI, with a clean-room annotation layer as the primary commercial product. We maintain full provenance documentation for each entry. There is no scraped, repurposed, or third-party-owned content, which means you can train, fine-tune, and build products on this data without copyright exposure.
Do you offer a free trial or sample?
+
Yes — we offer a free sample package with 500 entries across two categories, schema documentation, and format examples. Visit our Data Sample page to request it instantly, no account required. We also have a Hugging Face presence where you can review dataset cards before committing.
Are voice, image, and multimodal datasets available on all tiers?
+
Voice/audio and image/vision datasets are available from the Startup per-dataset tier onward, and from the Professional platform subscription tier onward. Multimodal (IoT + image + audio combined) is available on Scale subscription and above, or via an Exclusive/Custom per-dataset license. Contact us if you have specific modality requirements.
Can you develop a custom dataset category?
+
Yes. Enterprise and Exclusive license customers can commission custom category development. We work with your team to define schemas, recruit relevant domain experts, and build out the category to your specifications. Reach out at systems@modernhomemaking.ai to discuss scope and timeline.
